Prof. Richard E. Bilsborrow is an economist-demographer
with research interests in population and development in developing countries.
His recent publications in the CNH project include:
- Conservation policy, labor migration, and forest dynamics (Zhang et al. 2020)
- Grain-to-green program and forest ecological benefit compensation (Yost et al. 2020)
- Household livelihoods, income inequality, and forest policy (Zhang et al. 2019)
- Labor migration and forest policy (Zhang et al. 2018)

- Crop raiding by wildlife, cropland abandonment, and community forestry (Zhang et al. 2024)
